NC : L'acrylique mais par-dessus tout j'adore le dessin...plomb ou
fusain

NC : Studio

Préférez-vous utiliser votre imagination, une esquisse ou des
photographies comme matériel source pour vos œuvres?
NC : Les
trois...mais je travail souvent mes compos avec des modèles que je
place pour faire le tour et trouver le meilleur angle pour
travailler mes lumières.

MA : Qui furent
vos plus grandes influences en art?
NC :
Auguste Renoir...pour ces clairs-obscurs, Normand Rockwell pour son
humour et son côté anécdotique très poussés, Dali pour son
génie, Andy Warhol pour son audace et Coco Chanel pour son genie
aussi, sa vision, sa passion et sa tenacité.
MA : Qui son vos
artistes favori?
NC :
Idem mais dans les plus proches, Tex les personnages, Humberto
Pinochet ses lumières son talent, Guy paquet son audace te son
imagination et Mario Beaudoin source d'inspiration, composition et
couleurs.

Des sujets nobles, prestigieux
rustiquer
et modernes.

aviez le choix, où préféreriez-vous peindre dans le monde?
NC :
En Europe, mais plus précisément en Italie

votre but ultime en tant qu’artiste?
NC :
Évoquer un souvenir, capter l'intéret par des objets qui ont
marqués leurs vie, au passé au présent et au futur, ici et à
l'autre bout du monde.

Très variés....Rock,blues, classique..exemples :
...Leonard Cohen, Il divo,U2, Linkin park, Peter Gabriel, Phil
Collins et bien d'autres.

De Elizabeth Gilbert, Mange, prie aime....et surtout les livres
sur l'histoire du costume, de l'art...et les différentes époques
ex; renaissance...rococo, pop art.

but, above all, I love drawing.

on the motif, in the studio or both
?
NC : Studio
MA : Do you rely on
your imagination or do you use photographs as source material?
NC : All of the
above but I rely heavily on models that I placed around the studio
so to better study the light.

your biggest influences as an artist?
NC :
Auguste Renoir...for his clairs-obscurs, Normand Rocwell for his
humor and his fantastic sense of the anecdote. Dali, for his
genius, Andy Warhol for his audacity and Coco Chanel for her genius,
her vision, her passion and tenacity.
MA : Who are your
favorite artists?
NC :
The same but closer to home : Tex for his
characters,
Humberto Pinochet for his light and his tal;ent, Guy paquet his
audacity and his imagination and Mario Beaudoin source of
inspiration, his composition and his colors.
MA : What are
your favorite subjects?
NC : Of
course, still lifes but, also, people...
MA : What
fires up the muse that inspires you?
NC :Noble,
prestigious, rustic and modern subjects.
MA : Given a
choice anywhere in the world, where would you choose to live and
work?
NC :
Europe, Italy in particular

NC : To
evoke a memory, catch the interest with objectys that have
marked the spectator's life, in the past, the present and the
future. Here, out there, at the other end of the world.
